Hey, everyone!

We have a wiki now! It is already live at wiki.return.moe.

The wiki is meant to do two related jobs. First, it is a centralized knowledge base for subjects that matter to return moe or help explain the context around our work. Not everything there is ours or even affiliated with us. Anthropic, for example, has an article because its mechanistic interpretability research has influenced projects such as Miru Tracer. The goal is to bring useful context, relationships, and attribution together in one searchable place.

Second, it documents return moe’s own projects, characters, and ideas. This launch introduces a new kind of publication for us: authoritative articles. Most pages are sourced, descriptive reference articles, but a limited set receives this explicit designation. Within its stated scope, an authoritative article is a primary source for return moe. Soraya’s article, for example, records our current definition of her character, rather than leaving that definition to a temporary prompt, model behavior, or generated depiction.

The launch also includes something else we had never published before: the Informational Ontology Framework (IOF). It is our framework for thinking about fictional characters and related personas as informational subjects, including how their identity, continuity, and versions can persist across media and implementations. Its wiki article is the authoritative record and can evolve through documented revisions.

The wiki launches in both English and Brazilian Portuguese, with search, categories, and ways to suggest corrections or contribute directly. Take a look around!
